Since the spring of 2012, I have been interested in the strange forms of trees that grow in cities. Planted too close to houses or under power lines, they have, over the years, been severely pruned and now present astonishing silhouettes.
These images are emblematic of a general attitude, and describe a new landscape often developing unbeknownst to us. They will eventually be part of an “interactive landscape”.
