Five 20cm snow domes with water and “snow”, Plexiglas bases, motorized mechanisms with timers.
A study on the alternation of order and disorder, a metaphor of life, constantly reacting and adapting. A series of five globes 15 cm in diameter in which we see snow storms. These globes are placed on small, translucent acrylic shelves that disclose the motors and mechanism working under the “magic.” For inside each globe, a motorized device propels a great quantity of swirling plastic snow crystals. The increasingly rapid movement creates a vortex within the globe, then, when it stops, the snow gathers into a cone and everything starts over again.
